Please tell me how on God’s green earth that any conservative whatsoever would fail to go and vote against any Dem. running for office? Also tell me how any Dem with any intelligence whatsoever that is anywhere right if the far-far-far left could possibly not realize that this country will be destroyed from within if the Dems take control of the House and Senate and God forbid the Whitehouse on 2020? Does anyone not favoring socialism and a complete dismantling of the USA actually think for a second that sanity could be restored by the Dems? I don’t care if you like Trump, hate Trump, like the Repub. choices, or hate them...anyone voting anything but republican this November is voting for the near and imminent collapse of this country and complete loss of freedom and justice. I’d love to hear the few liberal leaning people who post here make any kind of serious argument that what we are witnessing with Kav. isn’t going to quickly result in every red blooded male in this country being fucked for life! If this shitshow is successful in derailing this nomination, I can’t see how there will ever be a male conservative appointed to any position of political importance ever again...and once that precedence is set, the standard will make a short and quick transition to the private sector and any ascent by male conservatives to any positions of importance. There is no single male conservative alive that will not have someone come forward and flat out lie to keep them down or have them fired...regardless of the veracity of Ford’s accusations...if the standard of guilty unless proven innocent is applied and set here in the face of a complete and utter lack of corroborating evidence. How can anyone but the extreme, extreeeme left not understand this fact and not suck it up and vote conservative? How?

I think, for the most part, this country leans center-right. It doesn't feel that way with the majority of media outlets leaning far left. But no matter what people say or how they portray themselves publicly, a majority of people still hold close the American values we were taught by previous generations. And no matter how bat-shit it seems right now, we have had far more discord and uncivility in this country then we are seeing right now. I just think it's a lot easier to find opinions we disagree with nowadays, and we consume far too much media then we should. I used to stay pretty up to date with everything. Reading the newspaper, watching the evening news, finding three or four articles online to read during lunch. About a year ago, I stopped all of it. I still watch WIS three or four evenings a week when I get home from work before I turn on a baseball or football game, but that's about it. Somehow, I still get all of the information I need to know, and still would consider myself well informed, but my stress and worry levels are much lower.

I agree that MSM has otherwise intelligent people duped, but this whole Kavanaugh BS is so obvious that there is NO excuse. Even if you believe that this woman is telling what she believes is the truth, no reasonable human being can honestly think that Kavanaugh should not be confirmed because of the allegations...there is simply zero evidence.

Let’s say he fails to get confirmed; it undeniably will be because these allegations swayed republican reps that otherwise were going to vote him in. Can Kavanaugh sue for defamation? He should be able to, as these allegations absolutely can not be proven to be true, all evidence suggests that this is a political ploy to destroy his reputation, and the accusations caused actual damage to his career, his finances, and his reputation. If he can’t/doesn’t sue or if he does and does not win, the precedent is set; anyone, anywhere could at that point make a sexual assault allegation against anyone they want to harm, and there would be no defense against it. Every male CEO at every company in America would be screwed unless they have no and never had any enemies during their lifetimes. No political appointee...certainly no conservative political appointee will ever, ever make it through the process without someone from their past coming forward with sex assault claims. There can be no conservative or liberal that isn’t mentally unstable and who possesses enough intelligence to dress themselves that does not understand these facts. Even the most outspoken lesbian who fantasizes about Hillary sitting on her face must understand that setting this precedent would be harmful to everyone...including them. This should result in a landslide victory for conservative congressional candidates in November...otherwise, I seriously overestimated the intelligence of this country’s voting public...and I’ve been highly skeptical on that front.
