Bypass is down to 1 Lane headed to the beach, nothing headed out. Business is still open through town, but clogged to a near standstill.

The only other bridge over the Waccamaw open is Hwy 22.

22 won't be open much longer from what I saw today. Two days ago it took me 1 1/2 hrs to get from Coastals Stadium on 544 to Conway on business 501.

22 is closed. Hwy 9 is closed . Lots of secondary roads are washed out north of town. 501 Businessesmay close at any time. 501 at Lake Busbee is one lane in and one lane out. It took me 7 hours to get from Hwy 31/501 junction to my home in Green Sea, about 35 miles. Way worse than Floyd or Matthew.

It's a mess around here right now. 501 business has been at a standstill all morning.

I've moved to the east side of the Waccamaw for the week, or until another road opens up, whichever happens first.

22 closed when the river hit 19' +/- its now at 20.7 and falling.

Hwy 9 closed at 17 or 17.5, its now at 19.3 and falling.

So for those outside of this area that means that there is currently one lane east, and one lane west over the Waccamaw river between Wilmington and Georgetown. And no one can guarantee those two lanes will remain open.
