    Default Wateree

Very last minute, but anyone willing to offer any advice on the striper fishing at Wateree? Only been to Wateree once years ago, and not truly an experienced striper fisherman. Any info or advice would be much appreciated.

Good luck. They move alot all times of the year. Trolling live shad has always been a winner there. Or chase schools first light and all day on cloudy days.

I think the only circumstance that would make live baiting acceptable would be a Make-A-Wish Foundation trip.

On Wateree I am. You get a bunch of these nappy ass North Carolina fisherman around you'll start to behave that way.. It cheapens the sport, I cannot have that.
