Default Spud poles on Duck boats.

Anybody use spud poles? Seem it would work well for holding the boat where you want it without fussing with anchors and tying off to trees. I’m thinking something like these links. The bow mount is removable.

Added eye bolts to the top and they hold Texas rigged decoys well and they are out the floor. They go in the sneak boat rack pipes.

I haven't ordered any of there products yet. I am in the same boat. Tired of anchors and ropes or dragging the boat on shore just to drag it back out.

Mudeagle got a prodigy built and it came with spud poles.

Went hunting, knocked the first duck down, drove right over the spud pole and bent it locked in .

We weren’t quite sure what we were dragging.... It may or not have been partially my fault
Be proactive about improving public waterfowl habitat in South Carolina. It's not going to happen by itself, and our help is needed. We have the potential to winter thousands of waterfowl on public grounds if we fight for it.

Delta in a nutshell: Breeding grounds + small wetlands + big blocks of grass cover + predator removal + nesting structures + enough money to do the job= plenty of ducks to keep everyone smiling!

I got 2 like the camo one in Beanhunters pic. Both are a little wavy from bending. They are almost the same diameter as the sleeve they go through so if there is any wave action, they will work their way up out the bottom. I will be replacing them with 2 fiberglass Stick-it poles that are only about 3/4" in diameter.

I have used the Superstick for years. The only problem is that I have broken the neck of the handle (Y part) off twice. The guy was nice enough to send me a replacement (he is in Murrells Inlet) but told me he had never had that happen before. It must be the week link because the pole is tough as hell. With my surface drive motor, it is the only useful reverse that I have. I need to get it fixed before the season. Anyway, local guy and make damn tough poles. MG

The Gatortail I just got came with them. I wondered how much people that had them used them.
