If you know anything about the CLUE report system that insurance companies use, then you will not file a claim for that. I have written about it on here before so I will spare you. My deductible was waived during normal times and I ended up paying back over $3000 for a $1,000 claim. Sorry that your stuff was stolen. Theirs know that in times like these people carry more stuff with them and are more likely to leave thing less secure. I remember during a recent ice storm that people had generators stolen. MG

Here is a link get your free CLUE report. https://personalreports.lexisnexis.c...disclosure.jsp

I made the mistake of placing a theft claim once on my home owners insurance in the same year that I had a roof damage claim (hail) - got dropped by State Farm. Took a while to find another carrier. Apparently, two claims in a year is bad juju for adjusters.

insurance, in general, is the biggest scam in our country.

If I didnt care about a select few people that work in the insurance business, I would start a class action lawsuit....
