    Default First dove hunt

First dove hunt for the bearded mutt. He did really well, only messed up 1 bird as he wasnt used to their soft bodies. Found 5 of them in some thick stuff that there would be no way for me to go in. Was wet and muddy in East Mississippi that's for sure.

God dogs make hunting more enjoyable. No one wants to here someone calling damn it all afternoon when "damn it" doesn't know who he is, along with a whistle.. Son of a bitch those silly things annoy me when they're blown at a steady stream.

My dogs only problem is he gets so excited he has very light whimper while hunting. Just enough to irritate me to death but no one else can hear. When I got him I refused to have a dog that everybody hated. I enjoy being invited on hunts because I have good dog.

Delta in a nutshell: Breeding grounds + small wetlands + big blocks of grass cover + predator removal + nesting structures + enough money to do the job= plenty of ducks to keep everyone smiling!

Roger they. I wanna say I knew that...
Anywho, holler if you get on some ducks out there. If you need a hunting companion, I'm looking for an excuse to head westward this season.

    You wearing the OCP yet?
