I've been cooking lunch and supper by myself (wife and kids departed) the last couple of days. Burgers, wings and whatnot. Nothing fancy but I made sure to have leftovers to last a couple of days. It's actually been a little fun.

Our hunt club is doing a big hash giveaway tomorrow, giving away about 250 quarts, so we're all sitting around taking turns stirring a pot and seeing who can tell the biggest lie.

A couple of the members wives got together and fixed us up a real good supper. That potato salad was on point!

Been steady grilling here in Mt P! Did some deer loins last night for my family and several neighbors. Probably do some ribs this afternoon.

[QUOTE=bigofunkyt;2522946]Pilau, venison cubed steak, Hometeam's smoked wings, BBQ chicken leg quarters, brisket, and chuck roast are all on my projected menu. My sponsors include, but are not limited to, Grizzly Wintergreen, Tito's Handmade Vodka, Predator Generators, Tracto

    This sounds like a plan

    Yes to all that.

I'm thinking about a smoked wild turkey breast while we ride out these 20mph winds so we'll have something to eat during the 3" of rain Sunday. Never done one but gonna give it a go on the kettle.

Y’all must be grilling or smoking under cover?

All quiet here in Mt P for now. No rain or wind.
