Frying Pan Shoals 13.1 ft wave height @ 6.5 sec. Wind waves nearly 90 degrees to the swell

70 miles north at Onslow Bay you at least have the wind waves and swell going the same direction - but those seas are 25 feet at 14.3 seconds.

Yeah it should be pretty close. Certainly the closest observation bouy at this point.

A few quick looks say:

Saturday 11pm the center of circulation at or near the place that 2NG spent exploring the bottom of the Cooper river 30 years ago.

What I can't figure out is why it is saying that only an hour later it will be sitting over Walterboro and then 9 hours later only to Lodge. I think the system is getting loopy...

JAB, you remember meeting my buddy Chuck? I was just on the phone with him 5 minutes ago and he said Camp Lejeune lost power
while we were talking. His office is less than a mile from the intracoastal on Camp Lejeune near Topsail Island. He said it was just starting to howl
