Yes. Love Thy Neighbor is fixing to apply big time. Country folks usually remember that old hand who worked for their Granddaddy all those years ago, double check...

It's been like Christmas in our business lately, and I don't even know if there's a full moon.. but people are acting like it

Please tell your wives and carpetbagger neighbors that you don’t need to lose your shit buying water, you can get it for free from your own spigot.

No sir. I think closest to us without going past the Mason-Dixon line is Texas. I'm not sure if another state might ship it directly to the customer.. I don't think it's very legal, but they might. I get asked for it from time to time, but they would have to want to produce enough to get here and then find a distributor in our state.

Laundry, make sure it's been done. There will possibly be photos taken.

Yes. As our Grandmothers would have insisted upon, standards must be maintained...

Tarps, **zip ties**, generator, batteries, LED lights, grease your guns... Plenty of gas. Rice, tortillas, cheese, butter, hot plate, fans, dehumidifier, Xanax, wine + beer...

Only run your generator to top off the fridge/freezer, it doesn't need to run the entire time. We went 7 days last year without power - it sucked.

Most important of all, cook chicken bog before you lose power. :P

Put a chain saw where you can get to it. Doesn't do a bit of good in the shed if there is a tree on top of the shed. Move your vehicles away from big trees.

Don’t back feed your house with a generator unless you disconnect your house from grid

Anyone that's been through long power outage have a run time on fridge/ freezer to keep them going? I don't plan on running the Genny 24/7, just long enough to keep the freezer frozen.
