Have Whisperlite, will survive.
Yep, between the two here plus Jerry cans I’ve got about 300 gallons.
Charge all battery operated tools. Get a Mophie for your phone. Check the ends on extension cords. Fill coolers full of ice or chest freezers. Clean 5 gallon buckets with lids and a little bleach for hand wash/sponge bath. Don’t push it, even if you think you can handle more the stress taxes you differently, take breaks.
Yeah, but do you consider a dog to be a filthy animal? I wouldn't go so far as to call a dog filthy but they're definitely dirty. But, a dog's got personality. Personality goes a long way.

Ha, at that length it has a little character.. a quarter inch longer in the summertime humidity it'll become wavy. I just don't have the head shape to get away with lower guards.
Saw chains, I can't remember if that's mentioned. I keep two at the house for one of my saws. I'm typically prepared. I haven't fired up the generator yet.. but I shouldn't have a problem with it.

Charcoal for the grill. Propane if you must.
You Yankees that plug in your grills are gonna starve.
A while back, we were celebrating Christmas at my aunt's house in NC. A 7figure place. Later in the evening, we were all hanging out in the LR. I went to get a refill in the kitchen. They had an old buffet with a bunch of pictures on it.....and a candle in the middle. The candle had gone ape shit and a few pictures were flaming. I hollered for help and we put it out quick. I'm sure we would have been fine if I hadn't happened to see it, but I certainly learned how quick they can go bad.

I've got 5; my last decent one was put on a few weeks back and I about ruined it. My sharpener is about dead, too. I guess I'm going to work on that tomorrow. Probably buy another blade, and a sharpener...oh, and a new bar, just in case.
EDIT -- hell...Amazoning that shit right now. DOUBLE EDIT -- Nope. Reckon they changed all their ship times for Prime because of the storm.

Check on the elderly. Prep their house or bring them with you.

If you're running a generator, check the oil level every time you refuel. And if you're tying it into your house please remember to turn the main breaker off.
Back on point.
If you do not have a close point source for water, fill your bathtub to replenish your toilet. Put the Nazi of the fam in charge of flushes...
Liquor. But in all seriousness, you will need liquor.
That’s the plan, depends on what changes overnight. From what Ed Piotrowski is saying we’ll be in the Cat1 to TS winds. I’m high and dry, we flood and there’s serious problems. Wife and kids are in the upstate. Got shit tightened up and will finish tomorrow. I’m more concerned with the rain right now.
