Lane reversal?

Hearing that lane reversals will begin at 12 tomorrow. Heard it from 2 different people, and it supposedly came from 2 different DOT personnel. I still have a hard time believing it. What have y'all heard?

Just got this from a friend that is an engineer with DOT.

"As of now, the earliest time will be Tuesday morning for reversals"

I know they call him Dumb Henry for a reason, but, unless there is a forecast that I do not know about, sending people north and west potentially into the next great flood, while clogging the way out for the Horry County folks, is about the stupidest thing that I have ever heard.

The blurb sent out by Sullivan's Island PD was that there will be no exits open between Charleston and Columbia. That's stupid as hell. Better gas up before you get on the road.

I've never understood why people think heading north is a good idea when they are evacuating from a hurricane. South is the direction I would be heading, if I had to evacuate. Unless I was in Florida.

According to what I just saw here, the reversed lane of I-26, first exit is jedburg 184, then next is 145 orangeburg

Y’all want to know why they were reversed? Come on down to Charleston right now and see for yourself, the town is in utter chaos. The idiots causing this chaos are the reason lanes are being reversed tomorrow. It will give the mouth breathers time to get out of town, allowing for normal folks to have a nice orderly exit on Thursday if necessary.
