    Default Grilling Fish

While I do enjoy the process, the BGE quite frankly is shit for grilling fish. Smoking fish, sure. Who has a decent stainless grill for fish only?

What problems are you having? Sticking? Falling apart?

Maybe it's you, and not the grill?

I prefer to blacken mine, so I would say get a cast iron griddle. But sounds like you want to grill them so maybe look into a grill wok? Grill wok is probably the wrong word. They make some that are flatter and don't have as much angle on the sides, but you get the idea.

Operator error. Fish on the BGE is easy and great.

I don't know I like my big green egg and all of that shit, but I've got a jenn-air with one of those searing units on the side.. That thing is the nice for lunch time steaks and things of that nature. I've grilled fish on it also. Not everything needs additional flavor.

I prefer not to have ALL of my fish taste like smoke. While it may make those crappie and bream you eat palatable and provide a change from frying, it still tastes like smoke, and snapper and grouper deserve better. Thanks for your input.

Based on your vast experience cooking bacon wrapped wood ducks that were marinated in Italian? Gotcha Colin. Where did you kill the summer duck band big fella?

That is a great method. Wanted some sort of decent gas grill like a Bull that may hold up to the salt and be quick for burgers and wife proof
