Glad you had good a experience with Engenius tech support. I did not. I'll never use another one of their bridges. I snatched out 3 and replaced with Ligowave and had much better results same money.

I just set up a bridge at nearly the same distance as you. I used a couple of nanostations from Ubiquiti and an old router set to bridge mode at the secondary location. It has worked well so far. I did have some issues setting it up because I'm not experienced in such matters. Give Millero a call if you're close. He can handle a setup like yours with no problem.

It wasn't really that great. It was email back and forth for a solid week. They cut out phone support.

They used to have a phone line, but now that their roots are planted, they have more corporate customers with IT guys who don't need tech support...

When this stuff dies, I'll probably go another more customer-friendly route next time.

Yep. I was able to get great WiFi (enough to stream YouTube TV) from my house to the boat dock and pavilion about 100 yards away simply by upgrading my comporium service to “premium” from standard. Guy came out and plugged in a little box on the back porch, one on the dock and one on the pavilion and its all meshed together now. He was as surprised as i was it works as we both thought it was too far. Total cost was that my bill will increase by $20/month.

FL was fun. Although I didn't have a crew that wanted to roll like I did. They were content to be content.

I'll probably live in the barn before it's all said and done.
