Ed Piotrowski says it will head north through the middle Atlantic.

Thankfully, the faucets have turned off for us in the last couple of weeks. We are now ready to absorb moisture from a Gulf event, where a few weeks ago even the remnants from a small Gulf storm would have been catastrophic across much of the region.

Is it too early to reference Hugo, bad feelings, stocking up and getting tools and generators ready?
Yeah, but do you consider a dog to be a filthy animal? I wouldn't go so far as to call a dog filthy but they're definitely dirty. But, a dog's got personality. Personality goes a long way.

I can’t remember if it was Irma or Mathew, but you called it before it left Africa. So from that point forward, I wait for you to post about a storm to know if I need to start cutting plywood!

I’m with Ed on this one. Way too high already to downturn. I’ll worry about the next one.
