Ed Piotrowski says it will head north through the middle Atlantic.

I’m with Ed on this one. Way too high already to downturn. I’ll worry about the next one.

My understanding is that they changed the Euro model factors in 2006. So "historically" doesn't really apply. Supposedly it has been pretty good since then. But that's also not a long track record.

I'm just surprised they are so different. They clearly don't agree on what the low pressure system will do. Hopefully the one everyone is watching on the weather channel is accurate. Otherwise alot of people will be in for a surprise.

At 11:20, he said all the models are showing it hitting around the state line, stalling, and drifting SW.

Also said it's going to be bad.

Thankfully, the faucets have turned off for us in the last couple of weeks. We are now ready to absorb moisture from a Gulf event, where a few weeks ago even the remnants from a small Gulf storm would have been catastrophic across much of the region.

I can’t remember if it was Irma or Mathew, but you called it before it left Africa. So from that point forward, I wait for you to post about a storm to know if I need to start cutting plywood!

Is it too early to reference Hugo, bad feelings, stocking up and getting tools and generators ready?
Yeah, but do you consider a dog to be a filthy animal? I wouldn't go so far as to call a dog filthy but they're definitely dirty. But, a dog's got personality. Personality goes a long way.
