    Default Marsh seat.

Any input on one you would (or would not) recommend?

We use the Academy brand. Work well enough for us.

They all pretty much suck, but this type has seemed to suck less than most over the long haul...

What was the failure? So I know what to look for. Several seasons on ours and no problems yet. The biggest hassle is the bottom piece will hold muddy water, will pour out when you pick it up and sling it. Just something to empty before you leave, no hassle.

If it's the Hawke I looked at I'd say it is probably comfortable but is pretty darn heavy. I'm also thinking failures on the marsh seats are with the bigger fellas.
