That was the first thing I thought of when I heard him. I thought the first episode was okay, the ending kind of soured it for me. Completely unrealistic scenario at the site. Amazon usually does well with their original series, and with this being their first foray into a modern military/spy series I was expecting a little more realism. The writers may want to consult a little more with some prior service guys the next time a project involves combat. Maybe I just have unrealistic expectations, but it felt like the same crap the networks put out. The reason amc, Fx, and hbo have the best series is because they create shows for viewers who can keep up and don’t tolerate bs. Fox, nbc, and abc can put out garbage for the masses, but amazon belongs in the former group, and, if they want to stay there, they need to keep their current audience in mind. I’ll keep going with it, and hopefully it will improve and I can retract this assessment.
