I pick on coots every chance I get, but this is not at all uncommon and they have one of the best companies in the Southeast doing the work. This isn't groundbreaking work these guys are doing here, it happens on a regular basis and I'll be shocked if there are any issues Saturday when they tee it up.

I worked with Clark when we turned the Farmer's Market into a parking lot. He's sharp, and I have no doubt his crew will do an excellent job maintaining it after Precision moves out.....

In the The State paper they claimed that the turf purchased was "play ready" and did not need to root. Their words, not mine. What was crazy is in the review of the concert in The State said that "before a crowd of about 40,000..." Colonial Life Arena seats a max of 18,000 so it only sold about 2x of what the Colonial could handle. Kenny Chesney in 2008 was sold out with 45,000 sold. Just seems like it should hold more for a concert since it seat 80k+. MG

We know. As the flagship University of the state, our mission is to educate as many of our citizens across as broad a spectrum as possible. The cute little Ag college up in Pickens has a much smaller role to play in the overall scheme of things. If it wasn't for the Forestry School, I am not sure what the value is for the state. For fucks sake, they can't even get a school of veterinary medicine going up there. But, by all means, keep isolating yourselves and acting like a bunch of loons. It is highly amusing...

I know at the KC concerts the stage was setup in the end zone. Gotta figure you are losing a lot of seating bc of that.
