    Default EZGO hub questions

We have an electric cart, TXT maybe, it has a lift and bigger tires. Anyhow, it is the boys' vehicle for the time being. They ride the heck out of that thing, all over the neighborhood and property. They also strip the heck out of the rear hubs. We go through them quite often - I pretty well try to keep one on hand at the house. Is this normal? Is there another option? I have seen some offering "Heavy Duty" hubs, but am a little afraid that those may strip the splines on the axle, instead of the softer metal in the hubs. I presume a hub is cheaper than an axle?

Thoughts, advice? Is this just par for the course?

Never have replaced a hub. Did have to upgrade the leaf springs to HD ones after breaking two. Other than that thats the only stuff we've had to replace.

I have thought about the welding idea.

I will try the HD hubs, after these next two go that are on the way from Amazon.
