    Default Chincoteague Island waterfowl guides

I’m thinking about taking my son to Chincoteague Island to hunt ducks and maybe Brant this December, for a couple of days. Never hunted in Virginia, and I always like to try new places. Don’t really care if I shoot Buffleheads or nice puddle ducks, and my son won’t care either. Some Brant would be nice though. Wanted to see if anyone has any recommendations on who to talk to and even who to avoid? Any places of interest to check out or good eats too, is appreciated. Thanks

Last time I hunted Assateague (in November), they had a morning draw for blinds. Both walk-in and boat-in available. Just a thought...

Thanks, I’m going to wait on draw hunts until he is older. I’m not looking to pull my boat out of state this season. My wife said if I take our two year old with me, I can go places. She doesn’t want to be left at home with a two year old and now 3 month old. I get that.
