I got one you can borrow and see if you like it....

Robbie sold me on it. Had a freezer go bad, and used it to remove the smell.

I don't use it to hunt the wrong winds, but helps when the wind isn't moving or swirling just in case.

No question ozone will kill smell. Bring the stankest boots you have and put them in my ozonics bag for 30 mintutes and they won't have a smell any more. I've used ozone machines numerous times to remove smoke smell from homes I was selling where people have been smoking for years. The question I have is will it work well enough in an open air environment to justify the cost. I've been fighting off the urge for a few years to buy one to try but I'll give in sooner or later. No question in my mind that it works, but I question to what extent.

Iv had one for two years. I use it mainly to keep from having to wash my clothes all the time. In the stand, I have used it with what I think is some success. The question is would the deer have spooked with out it and that you will never know.

With that said this was my “ah ha” moment. We have this really old doe on our property that has a white spot on her neck. She is known for sneaking in down wind and blowing over and over. I think we all know the type. After I bought it, she still came in down wind but would only stick her nose in the air and carry on. You could tell she knew something was up but never alerted. That was enough for me.

I don’t think it completely eliminates your scent but I wonder if it depletes or alters it. Therefore making it like you are a long ways off when you are 20 yards away.

Go talk to my dad about it. He hates gimmicks, and assumed this was one. He has become a believer in them.

    Ozone removes odors

Ozonics in a ground blind zipped up pretty tight works.

Tell you what sold me...The comanche indian I hunt with went to the sandwich castle to eat one evening after hunting. he was in his hunting clothes. I told him he would never be able to wear those clothes in the stand again, because the smell of grease saturates those clothes worse than a mexican restaurant. Seriously, I can take my clothes I wore into that restaurant, throw in the clothes basket, and the entire basket smells like the restaurant. Kind of like Leo's. Anyways, he put the clothes in a tupperware container with the ozonics, and a couple of hours later, you couldn't smell a hint of it on his clothes. And I have a smell sensory like a blood hound.

Now, if you believe you can just hop in the stand on a bad wind without descenting and it will work, you probably need a hecs suit.

I don’t think it eliminates your scent. But I think it decreases it enough to a level that is not as threatening. It’s not acting like a coverscent because it will kill human odor that is a fact. Think about it. You judge how close something is by how strong the odor is. I don’t think they are any different. So if it decreases maybe they think you are further away? I’m asking everyone’s thoughts.

I really have no need for one hunting, but we are putting our house on the market, and regardless of how frequently the dog gets bathed and his bed gets washed, the house smells like dog. Wonder if we left one of these gadgets close to where he sleeps if it would keep the dog smell at bay? If so, anyone in the upstate got one they want to rent for a couple weeks?

Alright, school me. If ozone is bad for you, why would you want to zip yourself up in a ground blind with a machine that literally produces ozone?
