No shit. But as I’m sue you know, the more you see it, the more likely you are to attempt to ambush the target by punching the trigger.

I’d go 4-16. It’s like horse power, if you need it; it’s there. If you don’t need it, keep it throttled back.

The more you see it the more work you need to do because you ain’t ready to do what you think you’re ready to do.
Everyone wobbles as their position gets less stable. Come out to the Clinton House on the 15th and show me how it’s done if you disagree.
For good info on "light gathering" - listen to Episode 33....

I'm going smaller on my scopes - my Trijicon 2-10x56mm will be kept but put on a second tier "spare" rifle next year. 2-10 or 3-15 will be the route I'm leaning towards, in Leupold VX-5's. 42 to 44mm objectives. The next variable Trij I get will be a 3-9x40mm because the rifle it's going on has "fixed" (silver soldered) 1" rings and I'm more or less stuck with 'em.

...sorry, misread "30mm tube" as "30mm scope"...

If you were wobbly shooting out of that bus window you obviously still have work to do... Just turn your magnification up so you can see it better.
You mean you're not steady as the Rock of Gibraltar every time you’re behind your rifle???

How bout he yells MISS. You’ll get to hear his voice more....
It will expose your weaknesses and keeping score will bruise an ego quickly.
Given the choices I would go with the 2.5-10x56.
I shoot most of my deer at around a hundred yards even when it seems Im hunting my long range setups (big cutovers & wide powerlines). I just don’t have enough time to get on them and judge on long road setups so I try to get closer to the crossings so I can shoot them close. I really like lower powers. Even at range in the cut overs. Easy to lose them at the high powers when sometimes all I can see is a rack and a head then lose it for a few yards then it pops back up. I feel like I kill most around 6x even at 200 - 300yds. I prefer a double lung.. but commonly face shoot.. I tend to hunt those thick ass cut overs most people said was too thick to hunt two years ago. Bucks move all day in there bo.. and that ain’t no sheit
