    Default Canada

I jumped on a plane, went really far north, and got on this guy bugling. I’ve wanted to hunt elk since I was little, now I don’t see myself stopping. Headed back in 2020, and after I’m done with all of the trips between now and then, I believe I’ll be focusing on elk almost exclusively when it comes to big game. It’s a helluva rush. Not a monster, but everything I wanted, a good representation of the species and a great first animal.

I know when I go hunt elk I'll be hooked. I have had plans to go for a few years. Hopefully it will happen sooner than later.

    Nice bull!

That flat land looks way more fun than the places I have elk hunted. Congrats on your first Bull Elk!!

He died on flatland, we walked a lot of hills though looking for other animals. Not as strenuous as mountain hunting though, just hills around the Peace River.

I would have chosen flat land first, land where I could drive up to. Then next choice would be to shoot him uphill from my vehicle.
