Probably because he doesnt. They leave the problems to the Rams, Chevys and Fords, in that order. Guy I worked with had 289k on his when he traded it in. Nothing but routine maintenance.

Got an '06 and '04. Both 4 door 4wd. Love them. Don't get them for pulling something.

Don't know why it posted twice. Really wanted you to know I like mine, I guess

I've got an '06 with around 250k on it. If I hit the lottery and had endless funds, I'd buy a new one. I get around 16 mpg highway unless I'm pulling a trailer, then it gets even worse. I love the truck. The power back window should be on every truck.

My forester has the exact same model with over 400k forester miles on it.

    Best truck I’ve ever owned.

I don't plan on getting a new truck any time soon, but when I do, it will either be a Tundra or Tacoma (depending on what I have to haul at the time).

Just traded my '06 with 220k miles on it. If they had continued that model, I would have gotten a new one 5 years ago. New Tundras are too big for the woods, imo.

    Built in the USA

Mines a 14 with 76k miles. Just put a new set of tires on it. Tires wore fine.

Would only trade up if they made one with a diesel.

We have 2 2018 Limited 4X4 Crew cabs as work trucks. Tow a lot with them and yes the fuel is terrible but I'm not paying. The one thing I do not like about them is the front seat. It is too big, flat, square and hard for the long distance jaunts up and down the East coast.

Oh, forgot about the back window. Short of taking a convertible to the Boulevard, Tundra is the go-to. Not another truck on the strip compares to one that has no back glass. I'm talking Sunny Ledford stuff here people.

I’ve had an 08 and I have a 17 now. Both are strong and never really had a problem out of either. One complaint that I do have is the paint scratches to easy.

I have one, 4X with the towing package. I've put 95,000 on it and never a single problem. Tundras owners don't call it gas mileage, we call it gas smileage.

They have a terrible blind spot in the back corners of the cab imo.
