You can bet that there's 20 members for every tree that gets cut down. You gotta have the consultant, the buyer, the logger, the driver, the mill owner, the contractor to put band aids on the roads they screw up, the guy to knock the gates over and the guy to steal the trail cams.

I kid I kid. I know some of them can handle multiple roles.

I see where they lobbied for increased load limits on secondary roads. Yeehaw, now our already shitty roads will match that nasty dump I took this morning. Sometime you just can make shit up!

You forgot to add someone to fill in the 10 foot deep ruts they leave all throughout the woods.

Hire a good consultant and everything will go great. Some road impacts and rutting are just part of logging, but if everything is done with suitable ground conditions these can be minimized. Y'all shouldn't bad mouth SCs biggest industry, especially when it is sustainable and has multiple public and private benefits.

This is not national dump on loggers day. Thankfully, the insurance man got me squared away before the derailment...

Got it. So, I own the tree, the dirt, the deer stand (and tree it is on), trail cam (and tree it is on). Now, I have to give a “consultant” 15% of what I will get to my tree, just to keep the buyer from screwing me?

I was with Preston this morning. He was taking up Santee11’s slack. Kerrys job is definitely better.

Just plain stupid for anybody with common sense...and they will only cut your wood if it's best for you...and put it out on a fair bid...

It’s 25%. The buyer gets 50%. So wrong again Boozer.
