    wonderfully ambiguous, ain't it

and i suck at making my point. i think my point is that an aug 11 youth day is nothing more than something to feel good about when it (IMO) has little to no positive impact on young hunters that dont normally get a chance to hunt.

    yes, I am a skeptic.

    2th,
You don't suck at making your point, pretty sure we all got it. This is more than just an Aug. 11th date but that's already been mentioned along with some other valid points.
Maybe put up a poll or something so you can feel better about not being able to change that a lot of us are gonna go hunting with kids on the youth days and it will be a positive thing.

As stated before my boy is looking forward to it, so it is a good thing in my book! We may or may not see or kill a deer but I will guarantee that a memory will be made. I cherish each hunt I went on with my grandfather who has passed away and the ones that I went on and still go on with my father. Hopefully my son will cherish the memories of this hunt one day when I am gone.

Maybe go and see for yourself that it ain't all about August 11th. Some of us here don't give a hang about August 11th even.

Damn great way to ruin a kid from wanting to deer hunt. Skeeter bites all over, coupled with 100 degree temps sounds like something they will be begging to do again. Who dreams up this shit????????

No older than me. Stand your ground all you want. Curious to know if you feel strongly enough to not take your kids (or someone else's) hunting on the private land youth day in your game zone now since you are so against it. See from my perspective this would be a great time for folks, myself included, to go look for a new kid to take on these new youth days. Sort of the intent for coming up with them maybe. What do I know though, I'm almost 50.
