The Elites don't fear the tall nails, government possesses both the will and the means to crush those folks. What the Elites do fear (or should fear) are the quiet men and women, with low profiles, hard hearts, long memories, and detailed target folders for action as they choose.

Beautiful bird but I bet they are no fun to hunt. I don’t think they gobble.

21 Game Birds left on my list of the 75, and that’s the only one you got to go to Mexico for. One day.

Beautiful bird. Someone will eventually make a manual call to use instead of electronic. Sound very similar to a pheasant cackle to my ear but I've never heard one in person and probably won't. Now that is one I would like to see someone do the "reaping" thing on. Would seem so much more appropriate to hunt them that way than to sit in a blind.

I’d whack that thing off a hedge row, out the truck window, in a heart beat.
Be proactive about improving public waterfowl habitat in South Carolina. It's not going to happen by itself, and our help is needed. We have the potential to winter thousands of waterfowl on public grounds if we fight for it.

I have hunted them and I disagree with this statement. I had a blast. They are a much more wary or nervous turkey than what we hunt in the states.

I know several people who have actually called them with an improvised call other than an electronic caller.........

Doesn't take much really, just one of those empty 5 gallon water containers

    Dang right!

I think Zephyr has taken one. Seems I read a few years ago an account of where she scored one. But I could be wrong.
