I want to say he was either 48 or 49. I know he was under 50.

I can't believe it. The stories I could tell and he's told me. We lost a good one today. Thoughts are with the family.

Damn fine fellow indeed, was in my class going through the academy. Had a long talk with him after his recent surgery. Served his uniform like a gentlemen should in proper form and with fairness. Never once have a I ever received a call questioning his handling of any hunter or fisherman. RIP and rest well on the great flyway partner.

Oh wow. Godspeed, Rabbit Sheriff and Bouy Bitch. Enjoyed your whitty sarcasm and political rants. Always gave me a chuckle. Prayers sent for his family and loved ones.

When I was a young new member in 2009 posting dumb shit that highschool kids do, he offered to loan me a bow and his time to teach me. Will never forget that kind gesture

Rhett and I shared some pretty cool adventures together. I counted on him in ways I couldn't count on very many. I'm gonna struggle with this for a while. Incredibly sad for his family.

Be proactive about improving public waterfowl habitat in South Carolina. It's not going to happen by itself, and our help is needed. We have the potential to winter thousands of waterfowl on public grounds if we fight for it.
