    Default Honey on ice cream

I was digging through the pantry lookIng for some hot fudge to put on my vanilla ice cream earlier, and to my surprise, it was gone. But I did spot some honey and thought this might be a good idea. Damn it was good! I must live under a rock because I’ve never seen or heard of anyone doing this before until I did a quick search on google after this. Anyways, if you haven’t tried it yet, do it for all things Holy!

Sounds good. I have never thought of putting honey on ice cream. I did, however, used to put honey on french fries when I was a kid.

Publix has their peach ice cream out right now. I was pretty excited. They made it too creamy/sweet, it that makes any sense. My wife made a milkshake with it the other night, and that was good.

I don't know about honey on ice cream. I can see the merit, I just don't think I'd like it. I do like honey on pork chops, though, so maybe I am the mixed-up one.

Maple syrup is good on snow.

I'll have to try honey if we have a winter.

Well I certainly can't talk like that around the house! I had to do stuff around the house all weekend with old lady and didn't get a chance to swear...that's alright, I'm going to the coast all weekend to fish with some buddies...I'll get to swear, get drunk, and behave as I please!

Maple syrup and snow is not how you make snow cream. You must be a yankee if your mother and grandmother didn't teach you how to make Carolina snow cream.

You’re probably a yankee if you know how to make anything from snow outside of a dirtyass midget snowman with Kingsford eyeballs.

We used rocks growing up for eyeballs....long gone are the days of coal. People these days don't know what the cast iron doors are for anymore on older houses. Fooling around with kingsford will ruin a kids mittens!

Folks are from the NW. I lived in Conway from '79-83. Came back to the Carolinas in '87.

It's the only snow recipe I know...

You’re probably a yankee if your kids have “mittens”. Our mittens were white tube socks with the stripes up top. Which was worse than plain bare hands.
