    Default 6/25 Thunderstorms

Seeing a lot of corn and sunflower laid over in the Florence area today.

Did anybody else get hit hard?

Drove 50 mi. from Pageland to Camden through the heart of it, while following it. Took me a tad over 2 hours.

That shit was terrible and probably the worst I've ever driven in.

Not much wind in Johnsonville but we did get 2" of rain. Sunflowers are loving it.

It was definitely rocking in Pageland. Don’t know how much rain I got at the house because my rain gage was MIA this morning. Going to the farm this afternoon to see how bad the sunflowers laid over.

Was worse in Manning on Sunday evening with power out at my house for ~4 hours, but last night was rather sporty too.

The worst of it was north of you yesterday. We caught the south end of it. I'm surprised there weren't any tornados. That wind right before it was intense and blowing due east. As soon as it started raining it switch to blowing west.

We got a little over an inch both Sunday and yesterday.

Shit was rolling in Summerville around 01:00 early Monday morning, and then again yesterday afternoon around 16:00

The midnight storm was as much lighting as I've ever seen.

Son just sent me pictures of the neighbor's dead pine that is laid over my fence and onto my dog kennels. Dogs are shaken up but OK. Very lucky. Crap like this always happens when you are out of town. I get to go pay a visit to my crazy neighbor on Thursday.

We got hammered yesterday and nearly just as bad just now. Had to have been 2" in an hour.

Raining again in Pageland. Can’t complain. We needed it. Sunflowers are A-ok as well.

Hit harder tonight than last. Big maple next to the house went down, luckily AWAY from the house. Course the dead white oak out back that I wanted to fall is unscathed. Corn took a beating.
