Got to Hunt last night for a change and had a very interesting evening.
Put out some friends in Bow stands then slipped off with the rifle only to immediatly hear the beginnings of a ruckus I lisened to off and on for two hours.
Seems as soon as one fella got in the stand 15 hogs appear to eat me out of house and home. One arrow starts the squealing (music to my ears) quickly followed by silence till the same is repeated 30 minutes later.
At this point Bob The Cat saunters through the opening and picks up on one of the blood trails.The chase is on.
It appears that one of the Sows in the group had some little ones with her and the pigs were holed up around the 2 shot pigs.The Bobcat starts working on the piglets and momma goes nuts.
The ensuing fight lasted a good 20 minutes and seemed to take up the whole tri-county area.
Wow what a night,I would have loved to catch that on film.
