I dropped my hunt club and decided to go “all in” on my hunting property this year. We got seed in the ground 8 days ago and I’m pleasantly surprised. Hopefully we continue to get some rain.

Looking good. Put a camera up now and watch them wipe it out!

Buddy of mine recommended plot saver ribbon. Never tried it myself but it might be worth a shot.

looks good , good luck with it
you WANT the deer to eat it. that's the point. its JUNE.
Be ready to replant if you want to hunt over it. I wouldnt use plot saver ribbon unless I was trying to grow a crop (think sunflowers in a dove field) or maybe to establish some peas that can handle a small amount of graze. If not, invite them in to eat the piss out of it.
what kind of planter did you use??
Ugh. Stupid people piss me off.
Go buy some cheap radios and put them under a bucket,,,

Looks good. I've planted twice in the last 3 weeks and fixing to plant again.
We planted and put some milorganite out.
More fuel = more boost!!
We planted a dove field (sunflowers and corn) in one of my fields that had soybeans in it last year. I was loosing count at 40+ deer in the field last year. Was real worried that we couldn’t get a stand of sunflowers because of the deer in the area. We put up about a dozen scarecrows and soak them every few days with skin so soft and have been spraying Lysol around the perimeter of the field every other day. So far, not a deer track in the field. Might not hurt giving that a try until your foodplots get established enough to stand some heavy browsing.
I’m hoping we have enough plots where they don’t hammer them all
