It's all just hearsay without a graph of some kind.

Yesterday I saw 2 hens and 14 very little ones feeding and enjoying the rain in one of my fields.

I still feel like the trapping I’ve done over the past 3 years has helped....if not, I’m at least telling myself it has.

Keep drinking the coolaid. Leave the actual forest management to those that know what they are doing. Turkeys hate fire know that.

Just saw a hen with 6 poults on my farm and 4 hens with about 20 or so poults on one of my turkey tracts. I've been seeing more poults this year then I have in the past 2 or 3 years.

The new regulations are already helping.

I saw a group of hens (5) with no poults..

And I saw 2 hens with 13 poults..

Reckon that 5 was a group of Jennies, that weren’t old enough to have nests yet?

Today i saw 2 hens cross highway 45 in Alvin. One had 6 3-4 inch poults. After they crossed one about the size of a quail took flight to cross the highway. It was picked off halfway across the road by a hawk that came from out of nowhere. Unbelievable.

    Default Poults!

Yep, they are passed the stage of concern for the most part in regards to hypothermia.

3 hens and 15 youngsters in the field this morning. Horrible cellphone pic of them 200 yds away.
