LOL...mine was. In fact, he spent all his service on Okinawa. He had Fords all his life. He was constantly in the yard under the big shade tree working on them too.

I'm a member of a BMW forum where I do some reading mostly regarding my vehicle. Other than that SCD is it.

What is CF? I know what the hull truth is.

Delta in a nutshell: Breeding grounds + small wetlands + big blocks of grass cover + predator removal + nesting structures + enough money to do the job= plenty of ducks to keep everyone smiling!

in the old days- everybody worked on their cars and trucks of all brands to keep them running, manually adjusted drum brakes, tune- up every 12,000 miles etc.

Ha! Mine was the same way. Oddly, I haven’t heard that sort of sentiment since childhood.

Our old local gunshop owner was a Marine in the Pacific. He wouldn't sell you a damned thing if you rolled up on his shop in a Toyota or Nissan.

I know, but I'm talking about chain hoist over the tree limb pulling engines and such, not routine maintenance.

In addition to ducks, a chainsaw and milling forum, and tundra solutions.

    I don't use those regularly.

I logged into ducks once before I created this name, I didn't really internet much before then. I had a name on charlestonfishing, but never really liked the place. It's been years since I've looked at it, but the hunting forums were slap full of silliness. They're in line with like any facepage hunting groups. Which are pretty awful. I do more reading on here about hunting than anything, I post comments to entertain myself. So that's it I guess now, just scducks.

I don't like to tell people I'm on here, but a few people who know me know I'm on here. I also know a lot of people on here who don't know I'm here. I tried reading a couple of other forums, but I don't like the advertisements on those, so I didn't last long. I don't like forums I have to sign up for, I like to be a "guest."

    Scducks, The refuge, THO
“Duck hunting gives a man a chance to see the loneliest places …blinds washed by a rolling surf, blue and gold autumn marshes, …a rice field in the rain, flooded pin-oak forests or any remote river delta. In duck hunting the scene is as important as the shooting.” ~ Erwin Bauer, The Duck Hunter’s Bible, 1965
