That's stupid money for that. Hell I had a 85 that I bought in college in '93 and paid $4500.00 for. Paid about 1/2 of that for the '99 Land Cruiser back in January. I'd rather have the LC any day.

Yeah, but do you consider a dog to be a filthy animal? I wouldn't go so far as to call a dog filthy but they're definitely dirty. But, a dog's got personality. Personality goes a long way.

I've had an 89 and a 99. Wish I never sold either of them.

While I tend to agree with you how crazy the value of these trucks are, it doesn't change the fact that they are bringing that kind of money and trying to compare the price of those trucks today vs 25 years ago is apples and oranges.

    $4500 in 93 ~$8000 in 2008

I’ve had that exact truck, it was nice and I should have never sold it .... I wouldn’t pay anywhere close to $8k+.

Although I wish I never sold mine, if I had them today and they've would bring $8k+ I'd probably sell them again

If that was an extra cab and had a sunroof I might pay that. Still a nice truck. It's crazy what little Toyota's bring.

There's such a jump in niceness from a mid 80's to a mid 90's. I had an 86 thoughout my youth, I mean I loved it then, but lets face that son of a bitch was a glorified dune buggy.

It's worth what somebody will pay for it. 04-07 Classic 2500HD's are another thing that people regularly overpay for, but if they're bringing what people are asking, then they're technically "worth it".

I hear people bitch about paying "X" amount of money for used vehicles, and then those same people have no problem dumping $20-25K in a damn Polaris Ranger. You wanna talk about dumb????

That’s partially what makes them fun to have.
