After putting the kids to bed I went up to the bonus room and watched til the finish while I worked out... damn it was worth it. Good game.

Snitker lost this one with his decision making after the grand slam! I think everyone but him knew Davidson needed to come out but he left him in! And then we’re only down 2 and he goes with Smyly who has been awful all year and is throwing all curveballs! I wanted to see jackson and matzek and keep it close, even if you lose with them you have a day off tommorow!!

I know Monday morning quarterbacking is easy but I don't think it's ever a good idea to intentionally walk the bases loaded.

It's hard to complain because Snitker has pushed all the right buttons thus far. But, he got whipped last night. Hopefully that doesn't start a trend.

It makes a lot of sense actually. When you have a runner on 3rd and 2nd like that then walk the batter to put him on 1st, it creates a situation where a grounder on the infield allows an infielder to simply toss the ball to the easiest base for the force out, whereas if 1st was open the only force out is 1st so that's where you have to go with the ball.

It's simply opens up options for the defense.

I saw on the postgame where the guy that got the bases loaded walk said he told everyone he was going up there to crowd the plate and had no plans to swing unless it got to 2 strikes. Wanted to make minter uncomfortable and I guess it worked

When that fella squared up to bunt on the last pitch it threw Minter off for sure.
