    The announcers keep saying "this team is right on the verge of being really good" but I have come to accept that the Braves are a sub 500 team. They are still my team, but right now they just aren't very good.

    The TV announcers keep saying that.

    The radio guys, last night, said what everyone is thinking. This team hasn't been right since the first 4 games. Something has been off all year. Add in injuries/suspensions, a shitty bullpen, average to below average defense, and a former first round pick batting .225 and you have a sub .500 team.

    The only way they can make the playoffs is winning the division. The wild card will come from the NL West.
