For those of us who remember the 14 straight. We got spolied on winning. The braves are an organization who has lost its identity. I think we are headed in the right direction as a whole. Fun baseball to watch, minus the Giants series.

It used to be fun to watch the wins come in the regular season, and the heart break come in the championship series.

Then it was fun to get to the playoffs and be out slugged in the postseason.

Then it wasn't fun to watch us lose 20-something games in September-October.

The Braves didn't lose as bad as the O's are losing tonight did they?

19 combined wins between the two teams. I hope not.

I play old man baseball now with a guy that was on that team and he said to see that talent first hand was something else.

No sir, pretty sure one hit now and my old ass would never get up. I would like to come in for one play like Eric Kimrey and throw a fade route in the corner for a TD. Wonder is Muschamp would let me do that? Surely he's heard how awesome I used to be....

Now that is funny! Did someone kidnap you and make you go to a Carolina fundraiser?

I'm sure the house was impressive. Doesn't he live on the lake?

Heck it wasn't that long ago... they have just been so terrible the last half decade it feels like it was. They are finally fun to watch again.

I'm making my annual pilgrimage Saturday. It'll be exciting to see these young guys play together. If Albies stays on pace, he should be in the All-Star Game. I watched Acuna play in Charlotte last summer and knew he would be special. Hopefully the rain isn't too bad and they should sweep the Marlins this weekend.

Braves got screwed by the replay official in the 6th. Missed the call at the plate. They said they didn't have enough evidence even though it looked pretty clear to me. Then the next play they made another bad call at 3rd. But no more challenges.

I'm not a fan of replay in baseball and I agree in real time it looked like he was out. But damn if I want to wait through a challenge and them still come back with the wrong call.
