    Default Atlanta Braves

Fun team to watch right now.

7-1 since Acuna joined. Teheran carried a no-no into the 7th today. 11-0 victory over the Mets for the sweep and a 2nd day in 1st place.

Hope they can continue. As a loyal fan it has been tough to watch 100 plus games a year and more than half be losses.

My man. Solidify the bullpen. If we can get Bautista up and get any production out of him. We could make a good run. Another legit starter would be nice as well. Definitely fun to watch!

As long as that production is doing something other than playing 3B. Or hitting, he cant do that anymore either. Oh and he is a locker room cancer so dont really need him in there. Maybe he can give the Freeze a night off every now and then and run his dumb, arrogant ass around the warning track.

Indeed. I'm glad I'm headed back south to watch them. I'm sick of the Cardinals and always hearing about them

Wins in April count the same as one is May, June, July, August, September, and October

All wins count the same so you take em when you can get them.

    Surely you were mistaken?! Seriously?!
There was a time between the excitement of first light/legal and the first wave of ducks we tried to coax in that I looked to the heavens and talked to Tripp; I don’t think God lets conversations from earth taint the wonder that His children are experiencing in Heaven, but just in case, I had my say.

A lot of what ifs in that game I could go on and on but we need to just play a better game tommorow. Watched Luke Jackson blow games all summer long, nothing new there. He relies on his slider way too much and it gets him in trouble. Losing Martin in that spot turned the whole game around for sure. We'll have to climb out of the hole now

Kids. Look at the birthdates of the 40 man roster. Markakis is the oldest, born in 83

90's braves- a bunch of kids with 2 old guys (Terry Pendelton and Otis Nixon)

2018 braves- a bunch of kids with 2 old guys (Freddie Freeman and Nick Markakis)

Just saying, are we on the verge of seeing another run in Hotlanta? Its been 20+ years. It may be time. I'm always hopeful.

They damn sure do.One thing missing from this Roster that the team that lost 13 of 14 in the playoffs is continuity. Most of the early roster from the 90's team all played together coming up through the system. Greenville had one helluva AA team before that run started.

Albies, Acuna, Camargo, Soroka, and even Dansby all played together from A-AAA

The first three playing the most together

I remember going to Sumter Braves games before they left town and seeing the likes of Ron Gantt, David Justice, Steve Avery, etc etc. Given, they were usually there on rehab starts, but cool to see those guys play with the younger guys who would eventually fill roster spots in Atlanta in subsequent years due to injuries, trades, or what have have you.

Delta in a nutshell: Breeding grounds + small wetlands + big blocks of grass cover + predator removal + nesting structures + enough money to do the job= plenty of ducks to keep everyone smiling!

I have actually been keeping up with them this year for the first time in a while. They’ve been fun to watch. I still can’t believe greenville screwed up and let the Greenville braves leave. That day, and the day foothills fly shop closed down we’re some of the saddest nostalgic days for me.

I think if Rafael belliard gets hired as a coach there will be no stopping them

Eh, they’re still the Braves, they’ll figure out a way to fuck it up....
