It's all in good clean living- posted this on the main board- but as fellow stick and stringer types ya'll should appreciate it better...

SEE YA'LL LATER!!!! Ole Uncle Trad is almost finished loading the truck. Got to finish and turn in my monthly reports and time sheet in the morning and I am COLORADO BOUND for 10days of bowhunting elk in God's Country...

Good luck with deer, dove, shrimp and whatever else comes your way in my absence!

I'm jealous too. Bowhunting for elk is one of those things on my list of things I want to accomplish in my lifetime. Have a great time!

As we've discussed, this is the LAST year you are gonna be able to do this shit to me! Although, I'm not so sure you aren't driving out to the gay convention in San Fran. You sure do go for a long time and I ain't seen no elk come back yet.

I certainly couldn't speak for Trad and I think he's out of town for the moment, but I do have a question.

What would your hubby say if he knew you were boating alone in the low country......hoping to run into a lone GW and "talk"?

Trad's Back... Annie?? What's up with that?

Well- hotter than hell- NO ELK (this is becoming a regular thing with us though!)... but we did finally get most of the mountain figured out and made alot of things happen this year.

Mule deer and grouse were thin in numbers...

I will post later the more interesting details. HOTTEST year we have had yet- light frost one morning (snow last 2 years)... layed around camp from 9am-5pm many days due to heat.

Had under 100yd encounters with too big/HUGE bulls and saw legal bull elk every day but one.

    It was damned amazing.
