I have already filled up almost 1000 sand bags. I bought all the milk at Aldi yesterday and 127 loaves of bread. I just need a few hundred more batteries and I am set.

I started stocking up on gas and propane last week. Don't want to wait for the mad rush at the gas stations and them to run out, or start rationing it. I choose to stock up on rice, canned goods, and dried beans. They have a longer shelf life, and will easily last from one disaster to the next. I have a well and a generator, so I will be good on water. Guess I need to start increasing my supply of canned meats, so I will have plenty of protein to get me through the cleanup after the storms.

Hopefully we get spared this year, it's been alot of work the last few years with floods and hurricanes. But on a positive note the in-laws did get a new roof on the beach house thanks to Matthew. And we cleaned out 25 years of accumulated junk under the house due to Matthew and Irma.
