I had a big black snake in the chicken house Friday afternoon. My two year old son was in there looking at momma hen and her two babies. I’m sitting outside watching him and all the other chickens, when she goes to squawking, He starts screaming, comes running out the chicken house, and she is right behind him with this snake latched onto her butt. I run over and grab the snake off her, and whip his head against the side of the chicken house, ending the excitement. Got my son calmed down, momma hen went back to her two babies, and everything calmed down. Snakes are evil.
