    Default Blackstone

Been wanting one of these for some time now. Homedepot had them on sale last week. Picked up the stainless version at the same price as the regular grill. Just hit the door...time to assemble and give some test runs this weekend.

Fry bacon, cook pancakes in the bacon grease. It also makes great patty melts.

They are nice to have for sure. You'll enjoy it. I've done everything from hibachi to steaks.

Report on how hot it gets. I like the novelty of it. I would get a paper hat from waffle house and go to town with dual spatulas with it.

Or act like a hibachi chef and fling shrimp at people while the onion volcano is steaming.

I don't know, maybe do both.

Cold rolled steel cooktop. Has to be treat the same way as cast iron, you know season it and never use soap type of deal.

Seasoning will commence tonight. 30 minute assemble time was a piece of cake.

The Home Depot failed to send my grill cover and my blackstone griddle utensil kit with the spatulas, scraper and oil bottles, etc. Refund received...quick order on Amazon and they will be here tomorrow.

Definitely bacon in the morning. Just finished seasoning a short while ago. Thing gets pretty dang hot. Come on by any time. I'm in charge of the boys in the AM so we should be around.

Honest first assessment...should have purchased one of these years ago. I mean, after breakfast this morning I feel like going to turn in my application at the Waffle House. One cook that was very simple...bacon, hash browns and scrambled eggs.

Pro's: cook all on one surface, one easy clean up, cook 1 lb of bacon at the same time in about 3-4 minutes...cooked nice and even with just enough crispness not to be floppy, made the neighbors come see what I was doing because the smelt it.

I must of done a pretty good job seasoning it last night. Didn't really have any sticking issues on the first cook.

    Con's: none

This thing is awesome and I will be cooking lunch and supper on it.
