    Default Blackstone

Been wanting one of these for some time now. Homedepot had them on sale last week. Picked up the stainless version at the same price as the regular grill. Just hit the door...time to assemble and give some test runs this weekend.

Fry bacon, cook pancakes in the bacon grease. It also makes great patty melts.

They are nice to have for sure. You'll enjoy it. I've done everything from hibachi to steaks.

Or act like a hibachi chef and fling shrimp at people while the onion volcano is steaming.

I don't know, maybe do both.

Report on how hot it gets. I like the novelty of it. I would get a paper hat from waffle house and go to town with dual spatulas with it.

I can honestly say...this is not a novelty. This is a legit platform for cooking just about anything you want and the quality of this grill is about the best you will find with store bought anything.

    I believe it's cast iron.

Seasoning will commence tonight. 30 minute assemble time was a piece of cake.

The Home Depot failed to send my grill cover and my blackstone griddle utensil kit with the spatulas, scraper and oil bottles, etc. Refund received...quick order on Amazon and they will be here tomorrow.

I was thinking it was cast iron. I looked at these a while back online and was debating on getting one. For some reason I think I want one with a stainless cooktop though. Even though this thread may change my mind

Cold rolled steel cooktop. Has to be treat the same way as cast iron, you know season it and never use soap type of deal.

Definitely bacon in the morning. Just finished seasoning a short while ago. Thing gets pretty dang hot. Come on by any time. I'm in charge of the boys in the AM so we should be around.
