A truck gun to me is compact, cheap, medium caliber and can be treated like shit because it is almost disposable. That little Ruger Ranch I bought my boy for $400 comes to mind were I buying something new, $200 if not. That Gunwerx rifle is stupid but, they'll sell every one of them they make.

1500 rounds of ammo and a free day at their shooting course. Gun is more accurate than anything just about anyone on this site owns.

I'd never pay 15k but gunwerks is as good as you're going to get for a custom gun and I make part of my living building custom rifles

Gunwerks has lost their minds. NOTHING on that rifle justifies that price. Their Glocks are just as ridiculously priced. I can think of half a dozen top tier rifle builders whose rifles win matches and kill game all over the world that will build a rifle for a third of that. I’d put the guy that builds mine up against anybody in the country. Steve Roe is as good as they get.

Have they lost their minds? It's all in the marketing. I can build that exact same gun using their action for under 5k. They sell everything they build like hot cakes. If I could sell my guns for 14k I damn sure would. The ones who have lost their minds are the people buying them but in today's "I need it now" society offering a complete and already built package (gun, scope, ammo, training etc) without the long wait time that all the other custom builders have they have effectively cornered a huge market. You can't hate on them for that
