Default Syrup Kettle / Cast Iron Fire Pit

Think there have been some posts on this before. Im in the Lowcountry and looking for a syrup kettle type cast iron fire pit. Any idea where to look or anyone that makes them in SC? Preferably under 40 diameter. Thanks in advance.

Sycup kettles are big and expensive. And very time consuming. I think you are prepared for this.

Google found me two quickly. One place in Orangeburg and one in St. George. Cheapest was $700.

There is a guy in a Murrells Inlet who sells cut off ends of propane tanks with rebar rims and handles. Tripod feet.

I think they are $250-400 depending on size.

It's not a syrup kettle but also not $1-2k

Taylor’s Landscape in Bluffton. Gerrick has them. He’s a great guy and will do you a good deal.

    Thanks for the suggestions guys.

Moonlight Hunter - what do you mean about time consuming? I know nothing on these so any insight is appreciated

Ahh Thanks for clearing that up. I assumed it was for cotton candy. Apparently people are using old ones for fire pits. Which is why I asked.

Jesus. Kettle was a reference. Looking for a cast iron bowl for a fire pit. Didn’t realize I was pushing the butthurt button so hard

Agri Supply in Florence had some bowls. I don't know the particulars on them though.

Buttons are mashed, not pushed. What part of Ohio are you from?

What’s the handshake like in the Kettle Klux Klan anyway? Or is it a handjob? Do you get together and smash bottles of aunt jemima and rub syrup on each other’s nipples? Can’t wait for this story to come up at your next meeting. Congrats on making noise on a forum.

Thanks to those who’ve been helpful.
