I had a filter housing crack that acted like what you are talking about. Press the primer until you it won't depress anymore and see if it will crank. If it does go straight to shop and get it replaced.

My Cummins will probably leave me today but damn there is a reason that everyone that drags shit for a living buys Cummins instead of duramax and powerstroke. They pull like a freight train and they get you home.

I loved my ‘16 CTD, this F250 is a much nicer truck and the PS in it is strong as hell, quiet and smooth, pulls good and is fast as hell.
Yeah, but do you consider a dog to be a filthy animal? I wouldn't go so far as to call a dog filthy but they're definitely dirty. But, a dog's got personality. Personality goes a long way.

I wonder how many diesel truck owners actually NEED one? Why the hell would you want one unless you pull heavy shit regularly?

I’ll take my powerstroke over the Cummins I had any day. The Cummins was a 15 this powerstroke is a 17. Both pulling the same 30,000 lb load and this truck will walk all over it. Also Cummins does have the problem with fuel. My fuel tank deteriorated and took out the whole fuel system when it made it through the filters. We changed the filters every 10,000 miles or less. If someone gave me a Cummins today, I’d have it sold tomorrow. I will never go back to a ram if I have the choice.

I do this crap every morning waiting on mine to come in from Amazon then it's going to Kevin if it's still smoking. I hope it's not my injectors.... My luck it is.

    1. I travel about 6k miles a year pulling a boat and being able to set the cruise and not have the engine sound like it's going to explode is nice on a long trip through the mountains
    2. I get around 16 mpg pulling a 20' bass boat and 20 unloaded with 35s. A gas truck won't come close mileage wise.
    3. I don't need to borrow someone truck to pull Farm equipment for the lease.
    4. Its American and I want one.
    5. Bass boat, diesel truck, and an American flag = trifecta of awesomeness
    Now please explain the negatives
