Freed from the bondage of his body, reckon how he feels to find out that there is an afterlife after all? He said that religion is just a crutch for those folks scared of the dark. I am guessing he is pretty scared about now.

When it comes your time to die, be not like those whose hearts are filled with the fear of death, so that when their time comes they weep and pray for a little more time to live their lives over again in a different way. Sing your death song and die like a hero going home. -Tecumseh-

He was a great physicist and had a great sense of humor and a dry wit. He had quite a few cameo appearances on TV shows such as the Big Bang Theory. Funny stuff.

ALS has to be the worst thing imaginable. I’d take a train on the driver’s side
Them that don't know him won't like him, and them that do sometimes won't know how to take him

He ain't wrong, he's just different, and his pride won't let him do things to make you think he's right

Is it? A person's mind remains fully intact... you can experience alot of positive emotions and experiences. You can still be productive .

My favorite Aunt lived for 30 some years with ALS. In the end, she could only move her pinky finger. Couldn't blink or swallow. Horrible .

I won't debate where Dr. Hawkings is now, but he was an amazing human being.

I took many physics and computer science classes in college. Learned a lot from him and his way of thinking. He was brilliant, however his view on religion (as with most scientists) is sad.

Even with the horrible diesease ALS is, he never gave up doing what he was passionate about.
