    Default Trapping

This was my first year trying my hand at trapping. I have a whole new respect for those that have been doing this for many years and those that do this for a living. I’ve learned quite a bit but the biggest thing is just how much of an addiction that I’ve started and The fact I need more traps. Final talley is 4 coyotes, 2 bobcats and just shy of 70 coon and opossums. Don’t be asking me any questions because I don’t claim to know jack about trapping!! Lol

Outstanding!!! Congratulations! Trapping can be very frustrating and it looks like you had a great first year! The pics are fantastic too!
Living in Moncks Corner but looking forward to moving back to the West Coast in 2020 where there are more ducks and less duck hunters!! LOL

Those are some really great pictures. That 3rd one from the bottom is awesome. Great job!

The second one from the bottom should be BB's screensaver.

I wish I lived a little closer to our property to really give trapping a go.

What bait or lure are you using? Did you dip your traps? Stake or drag? What scent precautions did you take? How much do you know about trapping? Is it more fun to you than predator hunting? Do you sell any skins? If so who buys em? Where did you order your traps from? Are you quitting the call business to go into trapping business?

You think you’re in good shape until you go dig, bed and set 30 traps.
God stuff Ricky. That pic of the boy and the yote in the background is awesome

If you don’t know Ricky, when the DNR sends the letter wanting to know what you caught, kept, sold and quantities of each. Lie,Lie,Lie.

So many questions. For real you need to lay off the bobcats. They get a bad rap. Coons too.

Nice pics and good work! Saw 18 get removed from a 1400 ac tract, and they were all fat as butterballs. Makes me wonder what in the hell a 40 lb yote could eat x 18 plus what was not caught. Bunch of fawns saved for now.
