Camo you better love a gadwall, both our puddle duck kill ratios would plummet without em!
Be proactive about improving public waterfowl habitat in South Carolina. It's not going to happen by itself, and our help is needed. We have the potential to winter thousands of waterfowl on public grounds if we fight for it.

I would rather shoot wigeon, sprig, or gadwall than mallards any day, but I will lay waste to mallards in a pinch.

A Gadwall is a fine duck. A Mallard is the epitome of trash duck. Will screw anything, eat anything, and swim in straight up sewage. Only reason I’ll shoot a Mallard, is so there is one less. Had to throw more than one Mallard out the kitchen after it stunk the place up so bad while cooking. A Gadwall, has never done me like that.

Pintails are graceful and have worms in their brain

I like how pintails will circle and circle and circle. The bigger the group, the more they circle. You get a group of 3 or less and they'll normally fall right in after they've given you 3 heart attacks. A gadwall more often then not will drop in the first time as long as there's no one else around you blowing the reeds out their cocobola call.
